The one thing visitors can count on from the state of Wisconsin, and the No. 1 thing that motivates them: fun.
Launching a social media presence for a brand that is all about “fun” is a no-brainer. Having a presence on Facebook, Twitter, and a growing number of other channels gives us an opportunity to share destinations, events, and anything else that is fun about the state of Wisconsin.
Since launching a social media presence for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism in 2009 their Facebook channel has grown to nearly 150,000 fans of the state and over 35,000 followers on Twitter.
