Adventures in Hipstaland: Dennis’ Historic Route 66

I am a huge fan of the iPhone application Hipstamatic and everything that Synthetic has done to create an analog feel with their photographic project. I've also been a fan of their photo journalism projects under the title of "Adventures in Hipstaland."

In July 2010 as I took a road trip west I wanted to document my return home on the timeless, and historic, Route 66. The American spirit of freedom was still alive and well on the decaying highway.

Armed with my new Apple iPhone 4 and Hipstamatic I captured many of the historic signs and locations on my way home.
