British Baker Hovis Sells Product and Heritage in Beautiful Spot

Posted by on Jun 19, 2012 in Advertising, Branding, Television | No Comments

Here is a great piece of cinematic advertising from Hovis Bread. The spot connects on many levels as hard work, coming-of-age, British loyalty, and product placement come together to give you a feel good story that supports British farming.

Dare, in London, created the 90 second piece that is clearly triumphant in delivering a product message within a story that everyone can connect with.

“The ‘Farmer’s Lad’ earns his father’s respect through determination to make him proud, reinforcing the hard work and endeavour that goes into every Hovis 100% British Farmers Loaf.”

As a marketer, and creative at heart, these are the type of inspirational messages we want to create. If you ever doubt your ability to create a beautiful brand and product spot about something as simple as bread, well this should set a new bar for you and your creative team.
