Clever Demonstration of Sonera’s 4G Network in Print Media

How do you bring the mobile experience to print media? Mobile operator Sonera was the first to open 4G in Finland and used this clever print ad and a mobile game to demonstrate the speed of their new network.

Every so often I come across a piece of advertising that surprises me and this certainly falls in that category. It is a very intelligent use of traditional media to demonstrate the value of Sonera’s network. It also strikes me as a cost effective placement.

The print ad has minimal design and the Sonera 4G Reaction Speed Test looks to have a very simple execution which should have kept mobile development costs low.

What do you think of the advertising? Have you seen similar executions? Share your thoughts below.
